Sean and his cousins

Before the Christmas season is over, I have a few sessions to share with you before we enter into the new year.  I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas holiday so far.  I had to delay this session because the photos were a Christmas surprise.  So now that the big day has passed once again I am able to share these.  I was able to show you Sean's Christmas photos but wanted to wait so I could include his sweet cousins in the photos.  And of course, the family puppers, Abby, has graced the photos too!!

Not sure about this backpack thing!!

Welcome Sammy

Renee and Jamie just recently visited Greece and explored its culture, food and beautiful islands.  How can you be more excited about anything!!  Well, if you had a little fuzzy cutie pie waiting at the other end of that awesome journey you just might be!!

Introducing Sammy, A West Highland White Terrier, Renee's reason for being just as excited to get home, as to go!!  Sammy is the latest addition to the Campbell clan.  You might remember that Renee and Jamie lost little Brandi earlier in the year.  Although Brandi can never be replaced, Renee instantly fell in love with this little guy who was being fostered by the breeder because his first home did not work out.  Initially Renee wanted a Westie puppy but after speaking with the breeder on numerous occasions and seeing pics of this little furball, she fell in love...HARD!!  So here are some pics from our little family session last Saturday.

"Thank you, thank you very much"..does Jerri not remind you of Elvis or what??

The Sheppards

Trying to find a location for photos can sometimes be a daunting task.  There's the ever faithful Bowring park and Manuel's river but sometimes our own backyard might serve as a great backdrop for our photos.

This was the case with the Sheppards.  They wondered where to go and thought maybe the yard might work.   With another unexpected sunny and warm Fall day, I showed up to do just that. Their property was surrounded with lots of great little areas to capture some pictures of their son. And of course, we sneaked in a few family pics too, doggie included!! As their son showed me the areas he played in, helped to build and played catch with the family dog, there was s great level of comfort for him.
We had a great time and captured some silly and some lovely moments.

The blog has gone to the dogs

Ok, so the blog is not literally gone to the dogs but I have a cutie pie here that I'm sure you will enjoy.  Her name is Brandi and she's a sweet little girl who is full of affection, loves life and has a couple of wonderful owners/parents.  I also know she is very fond of trout!!  Just recently Brandi (and her parents) got some very sad news.  Brandi has a heart condition.   Although you'd never say it by the way she went after the skateboard during out shoot, she becomes very short of breath when she does any big amount of exercise.  Her little body gets overworked because her heart can't handle the exertion.  So her mom asked me if I would take some photos of Brandi and her family on her favorite walking trail that unfortunately, she can't enjoy very much any more.  So here is Brandi and her "mom and dad".

Dakota- Then and Now

Puppy Shot

Big boy!

This is Dakota. He's our 2 year old mixed breed (shih poo-terrier) dog. We were in the market for a family pet and this little fellow fell right into our lap and that's where he now spends most of his time :).  He's a sweet, cuddly, licky, fuzzy kinda guy who enjoys walks, playing tug, and snuggling with just about anyone who will have him.  I take so many pics of him he now turns away when he sees the camera. He's a part of our little gang here and we couldn't imagine life without him.  Oh, and he really is a great dog!
