Jeff, Jen ,Kate and Maggie

I don't think it would have been the same without this gang as part of my Christmas portfolio!  This great family has been with me from the beginning.  If you have been following my blog at all, at any given time Jen, Jeff, Kate and Maggie, in any combination has graced the blog.  Here they are again getting into the spirit of the season and just as lovely as ever.

Baby Evan

The day before the devastation that was Hurricane Igor, I got together with my nephew, his beautiful wife, their baby, Evan and Colby.  The weather was not supposed to be cooperative.  So I was quite happy that the rain held off and even more pleased with our choice of location.  Althougth the trail was busy with people (including a city worker, whom I swear was stalking us...lol), the photos told otherwise.  With its lush green mossy ground and many gorgeous vignettes, the scene choices were unlimited.  We captured little Evan exploring the surroundings, experiencing textures and hanging with his family.  There just happened to be some crazy lady with a camera that they just couldn't seem to get rid of!!  Evan was so pleasant and super cute to boot!!  Here are some shots from our afternoon.

The Secret Garden

Summer is always such a fun and busy time that a whole week can go by and we don't even notice. With summer nearing its end, I am glad to bring you this post so you can enjoy the beauty of summer before she decides to leave us for another year. Along with Jennifer, her sister Heather and their families, we visited this secret garden.

As most of you know, it's not really a secret garden. It's a place open to the public and has many very colorful floral displays, a gorgeous walking trail and tea room, to name a few of the features offered. Check out the link below for more information on MUN Botanical garden.

I hadn't been there in many years, but I assure you, it won't be the last time visiting. But next time I think I will bring my family. So without further delay, here are some photos from the session.
