Mr. and Mrs. Moores

The stars aligned for Andrew and Denae last Saturday.  Their magical day came together as if, truly meant to be.  Not that planning a wedding from another province wasn't challenging enough, there were big changes happening to this couple in addition to wedding details!!

With a long drive from Ontario and their eyes on the weather channel, the harsh reality of NL weather loomed over everyone all week long!!  However, old Mother Nature came through in the end!!

It was a beautiful backyard wedding at Andrew's Mom's garden paradise and an emotional Dad performed the nuptials for his son and soon to be daughter-in-law, with pride.  Parents, grandparents, family and friends made their way across the miles to see this couple begin their life together.  Champagne was toasted and congratulations offered and they partied on into the night.

I was so happy to be part of the beginning of something wonderful!!

Andrew and Denae,
Wishing you many wonderful years together!!
May you find joy in the smallest of acts and love at every turn!

Congratulations!

~Annette

Reid Family

Today's photos are of the Reid family I met as a referral from my friend Peggi.  Her darling trio were a part of an earlier post back in July.

I met up with this great family on Sunday at the ever awesome, Cape Spear.   It was a lovely day, a little cool and windy, but a wonderful backdrop for some fun, frolic and few photos!  These twins were very easy going and the camera just loved them.  Having a boy of my own the same age, hanging out with them was a breeze.  I felt right at home and as you will see, we had a time.  Check out this awesome family!

Fun in the Sun (and wind)!!

This past Saturday in St. John's we had a gorgeous day! The sun and high temperatures were just wonderful after our sad intro into the summer season. Living on the east coast of Canada can be quite a challenge with our long, cold winters and even shorter summers! But Saturday, all that didn't matter! Saturday, the sun just about melted us into sticky puddles of useless goo and we dare not complain because only a few shorts weeks ago we had temperatures in the low teens (mid 50's depending out what part North America you reside). However, we Newfoundlanders know that with the sun, comes the wind. And buddy did she blow!

A few days before I received a call from an old friend who's cousin was in town from Ontario and she was interested in getting together to have her photos taken.  So, we decided to take in some sites and do a photo session starting with North America's most Easterly point (aka, the most windy point), Cape Spear!(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Spear)  It was a little windy, yeah, you could say that! Here's a look at some of the fun I had with this great family!
