This past weekend I had such fun photographing this gang of kiddies!! I could have said gaggle, or brood or team...LOL. Needless to say, my friend Lorraine, has her hands full! But how can you go wrong with these four gorgeous brown-eyed beauties!! Here are some photos from the session at a lovely local trail.

The blog has gone to the dogs
Ok, so the blog is not literally gone to the dogs but I have a cutie pie here that I'm sure you will enjoy. Her name is Brandi and she's a sweet little girl who is full of affection, loves life and has a couple of wonderful owners/parents. I also know she is very fond of trout!! Just recently Brandi (and her parents) got some very sad news. Brandi has a heart condition. Although you'd never say it by the way she went after the skateboard during out shoot, she becomes very short of breath when she does any big amount of exercise. Her little body gets overworked because her heart can't handle the exertion. So her mom asked me if I would take some photos of Brandi and her family on her favorite walking trail that unfortunately, she can't enjoy very much any more. So here is Brandi and her "mom and dad".

Sweet Shot Tuesday
I had a crazy, busy week working at my day (nightshift) job and then on Saturday assisting a fabulous local photographer http://www.lori-moss.com/ . I did, however, manage to get some cute shots of this little lady! Earlier in the week her mom wanted some photos done with her two beautiful girls and I have an earlier post with more of the session.
I just finished editing the photos and came across this little Sweet Shot taken at the end of that day!!
For more great photos, check out his link!!

I got it from my Momma
"A mother is someone to shelter and guide us, To love us, whatever we do, With a warm understanding and infinite patience And wonderful gentleness, too.
How often a mother means swift reassurance in soothing our small, childish fears, How tenderly mothers watch over their children And treasure them all through the years! The heart of a mother is full of forgiveness For any mistake, big or small, And generous always in helping her family, Whose needs she has placed above all.
A mother can utter a word of compassion And make all our cares fall away, She can brighten a home with the sound of her laughter And make life delightful and gay.
A mother possesses incredible wisdom And wonderful insight and skill - In each human heart is that one special corner Which only a mother can fill!"
-Katherine Nelson Davis
This post is dedicated to my mom! An artistic, funny, strong and wonderful lady who has passed down her creativity, beauty (at the very least to my daughter ;P), love and compassion to her children. She has been through many trials and terrible losses but she is a strong and gorgeous lady and I want to share some photos I took of my beautiful mom. In the words of the Black Eyed Peas,
I got it from my momma!! Enjoy!!

Jennifer and her girls
To say it's been a busy week is a bit of an understatement. So, I am glad to finally post these photos of my friend Jennifer and her lovely daughters.
Even though there is nearly ten years between these siblings you could see the love and tenderness they share. Spinning, tickling, and splashing in puddles were all on the agenda for the day and we had a great time. Check out these beautiful ladies below and enjoy.
